This blog post was meant to be focused only on the traditional file-based data lake piece, since it is still so popular and still encouraged in non-lakehouse architectures. And as for the data lakehouse I have read up on them and in fact that's the exact subject of my next blog post (and it's got a great twist). So stay tuned!
